Korean Friendship Bell Rededication Ceremony

On Friday, January 10, 2014 the Korean Friendship Bell was rededicated following the final phase of is restoration by experts from South Korea. Thank you to the Korean Friendship Bell Preservation Committee for working to raise funding and to the South Korean government for their $285,000 donation to the project. One of the largest bells in the world, the Korean Friendship Bell is a gift given to the American people 37 years ago, marking the bicentennial and is revered as a symbol of friendship and gratitude by Koreans and Americans.
